> This week I have been mostly... <

Getting up early, and stuff. Went to the gym at 9am on Monday, which was pretty hard going, but I got so much done, definitely going to try to keep that up. Worked on compiling a couple of mixes I'm doing, one jstu for online dispersal, and the other, more importantly, the new album of electro-influenced stuff. Also almost finished a new track, called "Fashion" - a bit cliched OK, but it turned out nice - you can listen to a clip here anyway:

FASHION CLIP

Had to do my VAT return on Wednesday, which is never a pretty task, but I got it done in 3.5 hours this time, and as usual, had to send a phat cheque to the taxman, not fun. Then, was up at 530 on Thursday to get into London for an 8am appt at the USA Embassy for my work visa - I've got a 3 year one now, but they've changed things a bit and you have to get fingerprinted and do a quick interview, which was painless and they were very efficient in dealing with the miLLionz of people there, jsut the getting up early part was pretty hardcore. Although it was really nice walking along oxford st at 7am in the nice crissssp morning air and deserted streets listening to a mighty 80s selection on my iPOD. Oh! and when I was waiting in line, none other than celebrity newsreader Mr Trevor McDonald turned up with some other journalist/media types, and I was suprised at how tall they were for TV people - they pulled some Embassy guest list trick though and jumped the queue, but were very business-like and polite about it. Respect indeed. Here is the man:

On Friday I went to Germany for a gig in ULm, about an hour from Stuttgart - was pretty tired so slept for a few hours when I got there and 1/2 watched Jaws and Terminator 2, in German. The gig was one of the best I've had for a while - a reallly really good crowd, and I mean that - about 6-700 people in the club, really good sound, and a nice mix of young and old in the crowd too. I was only supposed to do about 1.5 hours, but I ended up playing right till the end, almost 3 hours - it was THAT good. Worked all teh way through heavy dark metalheadz stuff, more trancey tracks, some new Calibre and High Contrast stuff, then some RoCKKK remixes I've done, and then finished with about 45 minutes of mighty electroclash - DnB which still kept everyone going - a really good night - so thanks to everyone that came out! I only got a few pictures from my camera, but I'll post any more I find out in the net next week:

Oh, and I got a beret off eBay - took a couple of new pictures for press bizniz and all that:

Also this week - my Crap peice of trash Casio Z4 camera having bbroken AGAIN is going to cost 117 quid to fix - I already got it fixed once already, for 86 quid. What a flimsy, badly made peice of shit - don't buy one, get a canon IXUS instead! Casio Z4s are SHIT!

Here's a pic of Gordon recording guitar for my "Fashion" track:

OH, and last week, some chavvy dumbass kids decided to nick my garbage bin and hide it down the street, then the next day they pinched my recycling box and chucked it in the park. Monkeys. I'm getting wireless surveillance cameras though so I can name and shame the little sh*Tz.

My bin in the park:

Today is Sunday and I'm going to go for a walk in the countryside and buy some plants from the garden centre. Nice.
